About Marius Lien

Marius Lien is a young artist who excels as an excellent guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He has made a name for himself in the Norwegian blues community and is considered by many, despite his young age, as part of the elite of Norwegian blues musicians. Fall 2023 he released his debut album. This new direction embraces a broader musical expression and mixes blues with other genres and styles, all from Americana to West African music. Marius has a good reputation and his recognized as an very exiting live artist, and surprises most people with his unique and powerful vocals, bluesy guitar playing, and versatile songs. At the age of 24, he has already been a Norwegian Grammy award winner for "Blues album of the year" and performed at several occasions at national TV.
